Quick Shrimp Scampi

About This Recipe:

Shrimp scampi needs no introduction. It’s buttery, lemony, and salty. It is a true fan favorite, and I think most people will be shocked at how easy it is to make at home. Even though this sauce comes together in a matter of minutes, it is full of flavor from the white wine, garlic, lemon juice, and butter. You can either serve this shrimp over linguini, or with some crusty bread to soak up the delicious sauce.

Ingredients (4 servings)
-1.5 lbs peeled and deveined shrimp
-2 tbls butter
-2 tbls olive oil
-4 garlic cloves, minced
-3/4 cup white wine
-1 lemon, juiced
-1/4 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped
-Salt and pepper

Instructions (15 minutes)
1. In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter with the olive oil. Add the garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
2. Pour in the white wine and reduce for 3 minutes.
3. Add in the shrimp and cook each side for 2 minutes until fully cooked. Season with salt and pepper.
4. Stir in the lemon juice and parsley, and serve over linguini or with crusty bread.
