About This Recipe:
At a steakhouse, there is one appetizer that I always order- the shrimp cocktail. However, shrimp cocktail is usually super overpriced for what it is: 3 extra large pieces of shrimp with cocktail sauce. So I figured I would try making it at home for a small fraction of the price. The key is to get extra large or “colossal” sized shrimp, and to serve the shrimp super chilled. The cocktail sauce is super easy to make and worth buying that bottle of horseradish and Worcestershire for. You can switch up the ratio of sauce ingredients to make your perfect blend, but the measurements that I have below are my preferences. And of course, serving shrimp cocktail in a martini glass is a fun and steakhouse worthy touch.
Enjoy!
